When You Pray Prayers of Intercession

delivered by

“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat. But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again,
strengthen your brothers.”

Luke 22:31-32 New Living Translation (NLT)

“I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through
their message. I pray that they will all be one,
just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father,
and I am in you. And may they be in us so that
the world will believe you sent me.”

John 17:20-21 NLT

“Holy Father, protect them by the power of
your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.”

John 17:11b NLT

When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father,
the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.

Ephesians 3:14-15 NLT

I pray that from his glorious,
unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.

Ephesians 3:16 NLT

Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.

Ephesians 3:17 NLT

And may you have the power
to understand, as all God’s
people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.

Ephesians 3:18 NLT

YOUR LOVE IS: Deeper than my view of grace.
Higher than the highest place.
Longer than this road I’ve traveled.
Wider than the gap you’ve filled.

May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to
understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Ephesians 3:19 NLT

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work
within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
