The Roman's Road Stop #4: Romans 8: 1-2

delivered by

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus…

Romans 8: 1 New International Version (NIV)

PETER’S DENIAL – Luke 22:54-62

Freedom from Condemnation – As believers we are no longer judged or condemned for our sins because Jesus has taken that condemnation upon Himself.

That connection to God is unbreakable even when we’re not at our best!

Life in the Spirit – As Christians we make a conscious decision to go from living according to the flesh to living according to the Spirit.

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8: 1-2 (NIV)

We may not always get it right…
but God sure does!

A life of Victory and Abundance

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.

John 10:10 (NIV)

  • Accept God’s Forgiveness – Start each day by reminding yourself that you are forgiven and loved by God. This helps you let go of guilt and shame.
  • Live by the Spirit – Seek to be guided by the Holy Spirit in your daily decisions and actions. This means prioritizing spiritual growth and being sensitive to how God’s leading in our lives.
  • Extend Grace to Others – Just as you have received grace, offer it to others. Be quick to forgive and slow to judge.
  • Stay Connected to God – Maintain a close relationship with God through prayer, reading the Bible, worship and getting connected with others in a small group. This keeps you grounded in His truth and love.
