Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also
reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give,
not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times,
having all that you need, you will abound
in every good work. As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness
endures forever.” Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion,
and through us your generosity will result
in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

2 Corinthians 9:6-15 New International Version (NIV)

The way we use our money is one of the most practical
and tangible ways we live out the Gospel.

When you have eaten and are satisfied,
praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you…
Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied,
when you build fine houses and settle down, and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God…

Deuteronomy 8:10-18 (NIV)

You may say to yourself, ‘My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.’  But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth…”

Deuteronomy 8:10-18 (NIV)

Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will
brim over with new wine.

Proverbs 3:9-10 (NIV)

Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income.

Ecclesiastes 5:10 (NIV)

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve
both God and money.

Matthew 6:24 (NIV)

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

1 Timothy 6:10 (NIV)

Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth,
which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.  In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life

1 Timothy 6:17-19 (NIV)

so you can give as much as you can.” – John Wesley

“Were the whole realm of nature mine,
that were an offering far too small. Love so amazing, so divine, demands my soul, my life, my all.” -The Wonderful Cross
