Do not be misled:
“Bad company corrupts
good character.”

1 Corinthians 15:33 New International Version (NIV)

kakos – evil, wicked, wrong

phtheirō – corrupt,
destroy
perish

chrēstos- good, kind,
loving,
benevolent

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

Psalm 1:1-3 (NIV)

Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools
suffers harm.

Proverbs 13:20 (NIV)

I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you
have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their
own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice because of you; but I want you to be wise about what is good,
and innocent about what is evil.

Romans 16:17-19 (NIV)
