MIRACLE- An unusual or wonderful event
that is believed to be caused
by the Power of God.
The next day there was a wedding celebration in the village of Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the celebration.

The wine supply ran out during the festivities, so Jesus’ mother told him, “They have no more wine.”
“Dear woman, that’s not our problem,” Jesus replied. “My time has not yet come.”
But his mother told the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”

Mary trusts Jesus enough to bring her concern directly to him.
Mary maintained trust and accepted whatever outcome God allowed.
Mary wanted and requested Jesus’ merciful
intervention in some form to prevent
embarrassment and shame from falling on this
new couple and their family.
However, she trusted him enough to turn the crisis completely over to his care, and to accept whatever outcome God allowed through him.
I shamelessly ask God to bless my children. I ask Him to grant them health, joy, lasting romance with their life mate, laughter, lots of friends, and healthy, happy children. I also have no problem asking God if He might allow them to live in fairly close proximity so that I can rock my grandbabies often. I feel no conviction of sin over the temporal nature of these petitions. As much as I hope God grants my children each of these things, however, these items represent my “B” list. Among the things on my “A” list – I want my children to love God, revere His Word, and discover life, healing, and power to be found within Him. I want them to love people and treat them with compassion and kindness. But more than anything on earth, I want glory to come to God through their lives. …God knows my absolute priorities for them. Therefore, if something on my “A” list temporarily – or even permanently (ouch) – might have to cancel out my “B” list, so be it.”

Are you confident enough in God to bring him your crisis?
Can you step back in trust even without a guaranteed outcome?
Standing nearby were six stone water jars, used for Jewish ceremonial washing. Each could hold twenty to thirty gallons. Jesus told the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water.’ When the jars had been filled, he said, ‘Now dip some out, and take it to the master of ceremonies.’ So the servants followed his instructions. When the master of ceremonies tasted the water that was now wine, not knowing where it had come from (though, of course, the servants knew), he called the bridegroom over. ‘A host always serves the best wine first,’ he said, ‘Then, when everyone has had a lot to drink, he brings out the less expensive wine. But you have kept the best until now!’ This miraculous sign at Cana in Galilee was the first time Jesus revealed his glory. And his disciples believed in him.

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
