Another perspective of regifting…

regifting joy

The settled assurance that God is in control of all the details of your life
The quiet confidence that ultimately everything will be alright
Praising God in every situation

I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

John 15:11 (NIV)

regifting hope

The sure certainty that what God has promised in His Word is true
The firm assurance regarding what is unclear or unseen

May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.

Psalm 33:22 (NIV)

regifting peace

One of the greatest promises that Jesus gives to those who believe in Him
Tranquility, harmony, security (inner peace)
Right relationship(s)

Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

Romans 14:19 (NIV)

The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox.

Isaiah 11:6-7 (NIV)

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:4-7 (NIV)

regifting love

Agape love: no strings attached;
can’t earn it or buy it, only receive it

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

1 John 4:7-9 (NIV)
